And it’s always the favoured in the French culture. Iris as the French national flower has a long history. When Clovis I, the first king of France, was baptized, Jesus gave him irises, which later became a symbol of the royal family. Besides, the Louis VII of France loved the iris most. He officialized the flower as the exclusive royal decoration by wearing a blue robe with golden irises on his coronation. Because he favored the iris, the flower was called “the flower of Louis” (fleur-de-loys) in his time.

But why French loves iris so much? Perhaps they have sensed the fateful detachment, broken passion and exquisite beauty from the blue-violet petals and strange forms of the iris. This is very French.

The ancient royal family of France used the flower as their emblem for centuries. In a religious sense, the three petals of the iris symbolize the Trinity. In modern France, people believe the flower represents pureness, brightness, solemnity and freedom.

The iris is a favorite theme of French artists. For example, Monet, the master of Impressionism, planted irises in his garden in Giverny and created many paintings of irises full of the rhythm of natural vitality with it as the theme.

The bluish-purple irises are the inspiration for this bracelet, which is composed of amethyst and clear quartz. The rhombic amethyst imitates the form of the iris. The clear quartz symbolizes brightness and detachment. With the elegant and luxurious style, blessing the wearer to be popular, have good luck and be welcomed anywhere, like the Iris.
